The Code of Conduct
If any of the below is broken your posts will be edited no explanation will be given of than an edited mark will be left at the bottom of the screen and a link to this page.
- No board bullying, harrasment, overtly aggresive behaviour to a board member.
No foul language (Generally this will be replaced by the filter)
No slanderous of defamatory comments to (e.g. Names of persons or businesses) Joe Public, Council Officials, Press, Police etc. , these will be immediatly removed.
All crimes whether joking or not will be printed and handed to the police (Please note IPs are recoreded)
No emails, phone numbers, home addresses are to be posted. This does not apply however to Businesses.
Newton News cannot and will not be held responsible for external weblinks, however sexually graphic/violent links will be removed if discovered. If you think your band or link to external site may be not suitable please mark it as so in your post.

This Code of Conduct is designed to Protect yourselves and myself for problems in the future.
Do not think that because you IP is dynamic, you can say what you like and get away with it. The IPs can be traced to your ISP and can be reported as harrasment to them.
Please note. I am the main Administrator. If you do not like this Code of Conduct, you are more than happy to find another site.
