I used my Nationwide bus pass(eat your hearts out you nippers) the other day which meant I could admire the passing scenery. Looking out across Newton Lake I was amazed to see so much rubbish in it. For an investment of only a few hundred quid a boat could be obtained and the lake kept clean by vol...

Woman at work got stopped and asked * Postcode you left from * Postcode your going to * Time you left location * Time you expect to arrive * Purpose of your visit How odd. Re: Census people - What are the asking?

I noticed the Census people on the A49 outside Parkside yesterday and today they are outside the old Vulcan works (well it's gone now but you know what I mean). Newton Lake

Is the council responsible for removing rubbish from Newton Lake? There seems to be two gas bottle sticking out of the mud like unexploded world war 2 bombs I'm going to send a request to have them moved via the council's contact centre online, just wondering if it was worth it?

nothing too dramatic in the council response. Some early negotiations that the primary care trust might want to use the town hall and invest a bit of money in it, no mention of the clock as I recall. I won't be holding my breath for the outcome of the negotiations.
