Re: The Curzon Cinema - What is happening?

At last the demolition men have started to take down the building but unfortunately they have released a plague of hundreds of rats. Re: The Curzon Cinema - What is happening?

At long last things seem to be moving on the Curzon front..The demolition company's barriers are in place and this time next week it should be gone.

Stasky and Hutch

Sunday night / Monday morning I had the misfortune of being woken by the patrol car carrying some of our finest down Wargrave Road at 2.20am sirens blaring and lights flashing. I was not inconsiderably annoyed and later that morning decided to make a complaint. I rang the number given on the Merseys...

Re: Latest on Parkside (July 2007)

It just proves how 19th century these masters of ours are. Had it been the responsibility of Warrington Borough Council the site w...

Re: Recession over?

Can only be good news. The town needs new blood which hopefully brings prosperity with it. We only need for the Parkside development to begin and it'll be like the Klondyke. Doubles and trebles all round !!

Re: Just out of curiosity...

That Post Office is an absolute disgrace. I popped my head in there a couple of weeks ago and it was filthy and smelly. The floor looked as if it hadn't been swept for months. Who owns this dump and how do they get away with the state it's in ?

Re: Just out of curiosity...

From what I've read recently it's virtually impossible to park and shop in St Helens. It seems they have a Nazi style private enterprise firm generating as many parking tickets as possible so much so that many people have given up on shopping there and travel elsewhere. typical of the burghers of St...

Re: Another one bites the dust

Ronnie and Jackie are trying to buy The Victoria which means they can obtain their drink from anywhere and sell it at any price they think fit. Incidentally there's a superb quiz there every Tuesday.

Aye..I'll be there as long as your good Lord spares me. I've a tale to tell about that certain pub landlady of whom I spoke the other day. I won't tell you on here suffice to say she pulled the cheapest, low down, double dealing dirty trick you can imagine. She's lower than a snakes belly in my esti...
